Booking & Fare Policies
Introduction:
These Standard Fare Rules (“Rules”) apply to all flight bookings made through Kalife Travel & Tours Limited on our website (www.ktb.agency) or via our representatives. They are based on the International Air Transport Association (IATA) standard rules and regulations and incorporate relevant guidelines set forth by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
Definitions:
Airline: The air carrier operating the flight.
Fare: The price of the flight ticket, excluding taxes, fees, and surcharges.
Passenger: The person named on the flight ticket.
Ticket: The document or electronic record issued by the airline or its authorized agent
confirming the passenger’s reservation and flight details.
Fare Types:
KTT offers a variety of fare types depending on the airline and route. These may include:
- Roundtrip: A ticket valid for travel to a destination and return journey.
- One-way: A ticket valid for travel in one direction only.
- Non-refundable: A fare with a lower price but no refund permitted.
- Refundable: A fare with a higher price that allows for a refund under certain conditions.
- Restricted: A fare with limitations on changes, cancellations, and baggage allowance.
Taxes, Fees, and Surcharges:
In addition to the fare, passengers are responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges imposed by the airline, government, or airport authorities. These will be displayed separately at the time of booking.
Ticketing and Payment:
- Upon booking your flight, Kalife Travel and Tours Limited will issue a confirmation email with the details of your reservation and payment instructions.
- Payment for your flight ticket must be made in full by the deadline specified by Kalife Travel and Tours Limited. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your reservation.
- Once payment is received, Kalife Travel and Tours Limited will issue your electronic ticket (e-ticket) or a confirmation for you to collect your ticket from the airline.
Changes and Cancellations:
- The ability to change or cancel your flight depends on the fare type you purchased. Refer to your specific fare rules for details.
- Any changes or cancellations must be made through Kalife Travel and Tours Limited.
- Change and cancellation fees imposed by the airline will apply.
Baggage Allowance:
The baggage allowance for your flight depends on the airline, fare type, and route. Information will be provided during the booking process and displayed on your ticket.
Fees for excess baggage will apply as set by the airline.
Travel Documents:
Passengers are responsible for ensuring they have all valid travel documents required for their destination, including passport, visa, and any necessary health certificates. Kalife Travel and Tours Limited can provide guidance but cannot guarantee entry into any country.
Check-in:
Passengers are responsible for checking in for their flight at the airline’s designated counter at the airport. Check-in deadlines vary depending on the airline.
General Conditions:
- Kalife Travel and Tours Limited acts as an authorized agent for the airlines and is not liable for any delays, cancellations, or changes made by the airline.
- Kalife Travel and Tours Limited is not responsible for any loss or damage to baggage or personal belongings.
- These Rules are subject to change at any time. Kalife Travel and Tours Limited will make reasonable efforts to inform customers of any changes.
- In case of any dispute, the interpretation of these Rules shall be governed by the laws of Nigeria.
